Biological attributes

Phenology Floración
Plant description Infrequent tree to 4 m, thin trunk, leggy. Covered in moss and lichen (trunk, stems, leaves). Pleasant and light citrusy/bay scent in leaves and bark. Pubescent underside of leaf. Flowers arising from leaf axil. Calyx bright green. Corolla canteloupe-orange colour.
Locality and habit remarks Disturbed, tropical, lowland, evergreen, mid-Magdalena type rainforest on karst. East side of Rio Claro River. 55 m N of bridge, right after first fork away from river, on right side of path, approximately 40 m.
