Phenology	Floración
Plant description	Leaves 1.3-1.4 m, with the green petiole to 20 cm & the lamina to 1.1-1.2 m x 40 cm. The brown inflorecence is ~50 cm long and spathe is green.
Locality and habit remarks	Tropical, lowland, evergreen, mid-Magdalena type rainforest on karst. Growing on a big leguminosae tree. The tree is about 15 metres with hard texture bark, yellow inside and sweet scent. It is surrouned by Araceae, Piperaceae and common families. Walk from the east side of Rio Claro Ecohotel crossing the bridge. From the bridge landing following the path when see the first fork go to northeast and turn east onto the open clearing state. Face to northeast going straight for 10 metres.
