Biological attributes

Phenology Floración
Plant description Tree to 5 m. Old stems brown with reddish-orange inner bark and orange wood. Young stems green or paler green with white inner wood. White flowers and buds, 5 petals with hypanthium, long white style with 2 stigma, stamen tip is black.
Locality and habit remarks Tropical, evergreen, lowland forest on karst, in the river valley, at the west side of the river. Growing close to karstic rock between the roots of Clusiaceae. South side of Rio Claro Hotel, up river.
