Biological attributes

Phenology Floración
Plant description Treelets to 5 m; bark dark green brown with pale brown horizontal scars, bark slash pale green yellow, no latex; young branch dark green or green; leaves normal green, young leaves pale green, clearly conical stipules; flowers tiny and white; hairy berries, young fruits pale green when immature, dark shiny blue when mature.
Locality and habit remarks Lowland evergreen tropical rainforest, humid, collected plant is surround by plents of herbs, shrubs and high trees, less sunlight, a few lianas adnascent, many ants in flowers. Lowland forest in Magdalena Valley, east side of the La Mulata river, go across the bridge of Rio Claro Ecohotel, then along with the path and turn right at the first intersection, go straight at the second intersection, collected plant is 20m far away from second intersection and left side of the path.
