Plant description	Lithophyte, slender cane 50 cm tall. Stem hollow, erect and caespitose. Leaf lamina mid-green above, pale beneath, 9 cm x 1 cm, pubescent and long hairs on ligule. Spadix 21 cm long, arising from the rhizome. Flower reddish-purple, filaments white, anthers yellow.
